How to reach Verhaler, and the registered business behind it. We read everything sent to the addresses below; please use the right one so it reaches the right place quickly.
1.Who we are
Verhaler is operated by:
Amsterdam, the Netherlands
"Verhaler" is Dutch for storyteller. Verhaler Interactive is based in the Netherlands.
2.General enquiries
For questions about the product, your account, billing, press, or anything that isn't a content report or a formal legal request:
We aim to reply to general enquiries within a few business days. During the pre-launch period responses may take a little longer.
3.Reports & takedowns
To report content or conduct that may break our Acceptable Use Policy - including illegal content, or notices under the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065) - use:
Include the URL or book identifier, a description of the problem, and any supporting context. For illegal-content notices under DSA article 16, see section 11 of our Terms of Service for the additional information we ask you to provide. Reports are treated confidentially; the in-app "Report" action is available once accounts open.
4.Data & privacy requests
To exercise your data-protection rights (access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability, or to withdraw consent), email [email protected]. If you have an account, you can do the most common ones yourself from the Settings page: download your data, export your books, and delete your account. What we collect, why, and your full rights are set out in our Privacy Policy.
To unsubscribe from launch-update emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or email the address above.
5.Complaints & dispute resolution
If something has gone wrong, please contact [email protected] first - most issues are resolved fastest that way.
We're not signed up to an independent dispute-resolution (ADR) body, and we aren't required to be - so we don't commit to using one. If we can't sort something out between us, you're always free to take it to the courts. None of this affects your statutory consumer rights or the dispute-resolution terms in section 24 of our Terms of Service.
